P&G Sells Kansas Manufacturing Plant

Will lease site for the remainder of this year as operations wind down.

Procter and Gamble (P&G) has sold its manufacturing plant in Kansas City, Kansas, but will lease the property for at least the remainder of this year as operations wind down.    The sale is the latest step in P&G's plans to transfer production of Dawn, Gain, Ivory and Joy hand dishwashing detergents from the plant in Kansas City, KS, to a new one in West Virginia.
